On 17th April and 5th June 2010, Barclays Bank joined tree planting partnership with NFA and planted over 7,000 trees in Nonve CFR, Lwamunda Sector.
On 17th April and 5th June 2010, Barclays Bank joined tree planting partnership with NFA and planted over 7,000 trees in Nonve CFR, Lwamunda Sector. This tree planting launch was officiated by the LC 5 chairman Wakiso District, Mr. Ian Kyeyune. During this tree planting drive, MD Barclays Bank promised that the bank is committed to plant 50 hectare as its corporate contribution towards forest restoration. The Wakiso District chairman planted a Muvule tree and named it 2010-2011.
